This is the 2nd installment  of the Rousell trip blog.  We woke up at about 9 am, Washington  time ,  and went to our hotel’s complimentary  breakfast.  After the breakfast we got dressed and got in the car to drive to North Cascades National Park.

After a short visit to the Visitors Center, where we went to the bathroom and filled our water bottles, we drove to a small hike.

The hike was 4 miles one way, we had planned to finish the 8 mile hike but the terrain was harder than expected. We ended up only hiking 3 miles, but that was fine because we had plans to drive to a few nice scenery spots in the park.

The spots were beautiful, they overlooked huge drops to the road and you could see giant mountains, some mountains  even had snow on top.  Here are some pictures.

On the drive home we got ice cream and then went to our hotel.  At the hotel we went swimming in the pool and relaxed in the hot tub.  After the pool we ordered pizza and browsed tv.
