First day in Olympic NP

In the morning,  we packed up and left our hotel after breakfast. Then we went to the store to buy camping supplies and groceries. After a long wait, we got on a ferry to the Olympic Peninsula. 

Then we drove on a scenic route through the mountains. These mountains are called Hurricane Ridge, in Olympic National Park. We went on a small meadow trail above the mountains, and it was so beautiful! 

 After that, we drove to our campsite in Forks and set up our tents. After a yummy dinner of pizza sandwiches, we had a campfire with smores.
