We woke up early at about 6:30 in our cozy little cabin. Right away we started getting all of our things together so we could leave the Grand Canyon behind.
We packed all of our bags in the car and after the girls got one last look at the Grand Canyon, we were off. We were on the road a bit longer than three hours with beautiful scenery blessing our eyes when we arrived at Slot Canyon. After registering for a guided tour we went back to our car and waited. Twenty minutes later we went to see if our tour was about to start. Unfortunately, it wasn’t going to start for another twenty minutes. When our tour started we walked through a bit of desert and down some stairs into a beautiful canyon.
After walking through a lot more beautiful red sandstone and science lessons we were showed three dinosaur footprints imprinted into stone. We were then on the road again until we arrived at Four Corners. After a long line we took group and individual photos.
After that we drove to a hotel ordered pizza and swam in the pool. I liked the pizza and relaxing in the hotel after a long day.
