Hi everyone, we’re driving home as a write this! This morning we woke up at 4 am..but that’s not what this post is about. This is about yesterday 🙂
Yesterday the morning started with waking up early and eating breakfast in the hotel, which is always awesome. We then drove to the Hoover Dam and it was 108 degrees before 11 am! Not cool. (Literally…) Hoover Dam was amazing and huge. We kept saying stuff like “Oh look we’re going into the Dam parking garage.”, “Let’s use the Dam restroom.”
While walking across the dam we took this photo, a.k.a. our album cover photo.
Getting into the car it was 111 degrees outside!! We then started our drive to Las Vegas. The strip is so fun and crazy at the same time. The hotels were crazy huge and they all had something special, like the one we stayed in was Paris themed. We checked into our hotel room and then walked along the strip. We could all feel ourselves practically melting in the heat, so we stopped at an icecream place.
Then we walked through New York, New York and I just have to put this photo in from one of the stores. The store was called Stupidiotic.
Then it was time to hit the pool! Our hotel had a huuuuge pool, I think it was 2 acres?? Anyway, it was very fun and refreshing. Our last dinner on our vacation was at a Chinese restaurant called P.F. Changs and it was delicious!! Claire showed off her master chopstick skills, (while I prefer to pretend to use the chopsticks but actually I’m just stabbing my food.)
After dinner we walked to the Belagio hotel across from ours and saw the amazing fountain display in front of it. The jets all went in time with the music and it was awesome.
After that, we got some sleep for a few hours before our long travel day.
