Did you know that Sequoias are the biggest living things on Earth?  Or that they adapt to their surroundings and some are over three thousand years old?  I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s true.  While we were hiking and looking at Sequoias we saw a bear.  It was small and fuzzy, lazily loping around the trees.

We went to Crystal Caves today after packing up our tents.  We went on a tour about a half mile in.  The stalactites on the ceiling of the cave were formed by rain combining with carbon dioxide and seeking through cracks in the marble. There was this one structure people called the dome or Jabba the Hutt because it looks like a dome but it also has this tail thing.  After seeing that we went to a big room and experienced total darkness.  As in our tour guide turned off the lights and it became pitch black.

We then started driving to our next shelter, a hotel.

Giant Trees!
