We packed up our campsite and had a pancake breakfast at the campground. These nice old people served us the best pancakes ever, considering they were made really fast.
Then, we drove an hour and a half to get to Zion National Park. The roads there were red! We did a short hike around a canyon, which had a great view.
We saw a scorpion! After that, we drove through a tunnel carved in a mountain, which was kind of dark, so it felt like a subway tunnel.
We got to our hotel, but we couldn’t check in because they were still cleaning our room. We got on a shuttle bus back into the park, where we took more shuttles to get to the Virgin River, where we did a hike called The Narrows.
There was a lot of wading through the river involved. Mom, Noah, and Claire (me) went back to the hotel while Dad, Grace, and Maddie went a little further upriver.
After we checked into our hotel, we went to the pool.

We had gourmet pizza back in our room, which was really good. That’s all for now, Claire
